I put this together so long ago and never felt like it was ready for release. I don't see myself ever coming back to this project, so I'm just gonna leave it here.

2018:
Looking back on this album, I'm remembering where my headspace was at the time. I wrote these tracks while I was becoming fixated with Bengali culture and desperately searching for my roots. I struggled with the idea that, even though I was Bengali, nearly all aspects of the culture seemed exotic and 'other'. I did not know where I fit on the spectrum between America and Bangladesh. On top of that, bleak family problems arose around this time, further pushing my confusion around the ideas of family and heritage.
